Terms of Service

Last updated 8 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Matcha — the Discord bot and the dashboard that configures it. If you do not agree, do not add the bot, use its commands, or sign in to the dashboard.

What the service is

Matcha provides moderation, auto-moderation, event logging, welcome messages, an in-server economy, levelling, games and virtual pets for Discord servers. Each server is configured independently, from Discord or from the dashboard.

Matcha is operated by the administrator of feksake.com (“we”, “us”), from the United Kingdom. These terms are between you and us.

You can reach us at matcha@feksake.com.

Who may use it

You must meet Discord's own minimum age — 13, or higher where local law requires — and your Discord account must be in good standing. You must comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Nothing here permits anything they forbid.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Matcha to harass, threaten, defame or target anyone, or to distribute illegal content;
  • attempt to gain access to a server, account or data you are not authorised to reach, including by tampering with requests the dashboard sends;
  • probe, scan or test the security of the service except with our written permission;
  • automate, script or otherwise abuse commands to exhaust capacity, evade rate limits, or inflate economy balances, levels or statistics;
  • exploit a bug rather than reporting it — this includes duplication bugs affecting currency or items;
  • resell, sublicense or present the service as your own, or use it to build a competing product from data extracted through it;
  • circumvent a moderation action, including by using another account.

If you administer a server

Dashboard access requires the Manage Server permission. Matcha validates access on the server using Discord permission data. If you hold it, you are responsible for how the bot is configured in that server and for what your staff do with it.

In particular you are responsible for:

  • the moderation decisions taken in your server, whether manual or automated;
  • the content of the messages you configure — welcome text, custom commands, embeds — which must not mislead members about who is speaking;
  • telling your members what is collected, since your server's configuration determines how much of it there is;
  • the fact that adding the bot enables logging and data collection described in the Privacy Policy.

Content and intellectual property

You keep any rights you have in text or other content you submit. You give Matcha a limited permission to store, process, display and send that content only as needed to operate the feature you chose—for example, posting a suggestion or giving server staff an application to review. You must have the right to submit that content.

Matcha's name, artwork, interface and software are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property law. These terms let you use the service; they do not transfer ownership of it. Third-party names, artwork and content belong to their respective owners.

Discord and other services

Matcha depends on Discord and may use outside providers for features such as music, weather, translation or public content. Those services have their own terms and policies. Matcha is not Discord and cannot control a third-party outage, content decision or account action.

Virtual currency and items

Currency, items, levels and pets exist only inside a single Discord server. They have no monetary value, are not property, cannot be exchanged for anything outside that server, and may be adjusted or reset at any time by that server's administrators or by us. Nothing in Matcha is a purchase.

Availability

The service is provided as-is and as-available. There is no uptime guarantee. It may be interrupted for maintenance, may break because of changes to Discord's API, and may be discontinued. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ending access

You can stop at any time by removing the bot from your server, or by signing out and revoking Matcha in your Discord authorised apps settings.

We may suspend or block an account or a whole server — immediately and without notice where the conduct is serious — for breaching these terms, abusing the service, or putting Matcha or its other users at risk. Blocked accounts and servers are recorded so the block can be enforced.

Warranties and liability

Matcha is a free service without a promised uptime or service level. We will use reasonable care in providing it, but cannot promise that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Do not rely on it as the only copy of important information.

We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for business loss where you use this free service for commercial purposes. Nothing here excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow that, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live.

Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts available under the law that applies to them. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change to reflect the service, security or law. The date at the top identifies the current version. We will give reasonable notice of a material change where practical; changes do not remove rights that have already arisen. If you do not accept an updated version, stop using Matcha and remove it from your server.
